SEATTLE -- You've been watching the work of KOMO reporter Bryan Johnson for a long time.

You probably feel like you know him.

But you might not know that Bryan is a gourmet chef, or that he is an expert in historical Slavic linguistics, and drives a vintage British sports car.

And, we want you to know that this weekend is a very special anniversary for the man we all know as "B.J." He came to KOMO on Oct. 10, 1959 -- before the Space Needle, or the Kingdome, before Dan Lewis was a batboy for the Chicago White Sox, and before Kathi Goertzen was even born.

He has been there, done that, and then done it again and again.
