Police: Bar manager stabbed by customer

An ambulance responds to the bar stabbing on Market Street.

SEATTLE - The manager of a bar was stabbed in the back by a customer Saturday night during a disturbance, Seattle police said.

Officers and medics were called to the scene, in the 2200 block of NW Market Street, at about 10:45 p.m. The manager was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

According to investigators, the bar patron got into a verbal argument with the manager. The customer then pulled out a knife, stabbed the manager in the back and fled from the scene.

Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The manager was released from the hospital after treatment of his stab wound.
