Yakima school firing teacher in student sex case
YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - The East Valley School District has notified the Yakima high school physical education teacher Michelle Taylor there is probable cause to fire her.
The 31-year-old is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old male student last spring in the back of her truck in a Yakima parking lot.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports she has been on paid leave since June and has denied the allegations.
She made a court appearance last month on charges of sexual misconduct and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.
