Worker dies after fall from Lynnwood hotel
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - The worker who fell from a fourth-story window of a hotel under construction in Lynnwood has died.
Investigators said the 45-year-old man was offloading carpet on the fourth floor of the building from a forklift outside when he fell from an opening and landed on the sidewalk below.
Officers and medics were dispatched to the scene, the new Holiday Inn Express at 2515 196th Street SW, at about 10 a.m. He was rushed to the Harborview Medical Center, where he later died.
The man's name has not been released.
