Light rail train derails in Seattle
SEATTLE -- A Central Link light rail train has derailed in Seattle, distrupting trains heading to the Mount Baker, Beacon Hill and SODO stations.

The train came off the tracks on the elevated train platform near Safeco Field about 3:30 p.m.

Sound Transit's Web site says trains will operate every 20 minutes instead of every 7 minutes until the train is cleared. The train service was to be restored to its regular schedule by Tuesday's morning commute.

Officials said there were no passengers on board the derailed train, and engineers are trying to determine what caused it to come off the tracks.
