Man critically hurt in White Center hit-and-run crash
SEATTLE -- Detectives here are investigating a hit-and-run crash in the city's White Center neighborhood that left one man injured.
Sgt. John Urquhart said the pedestrian was hit while walking across a crosswalk at the intersection of Southwest 106th and 16th Avenue SW at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday. The driver sped off.
The 36-year-old victim was taken to Harborview medical center in critical condition. On Wednesday, he remained in the intensive care unit, but his condition had been upgraded to serious.
Investigators do not have a description of the suspected vehicle.
