Attempted child luring reported in Redmond
REDMOND, Wash. -- Police here are investing an attempted abduction reported by a 14-year-old girl.

The girl told investigators she was standing at the corner of Avondale Road and NE 90th Street around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday when a van pulled up next to her.

The passenger in the van told the girl to "Come here" a number of times, she told investigators. When the man opened his door and lunged for her, the girl ran off, and the van sped away.

Police are looking for two men -- the driver and the passenger of the van. Both are Hispanic men in their 40s with a heavy build, according to police.

The passenger, pictured left, is said to have a pointed nose with a bump on the bridge.

The men were driving a light blue 90s-model family minivan.
