Woman injured at Kitsap Naval base
BREMERTON, Wash. -- A woman was injured while working on a project at the Naval Base-Kitsap Monday afternoon.
The 24-year-old contractor for Tutor-Saliba was working with a team moving concrete pylons when she somehow got trapped by one of them, injuring her legs, said a shipyard spokesperson.
She's being flown by medical helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but her exact condition is not known.
Her name has not been released, and investigators haven't said yet what caused the accident.
