SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A military family moving from North Dakota to Washington in advance of the father's deployment to South Korea lost all their valuables when their truck and moving trailer were stolen in Spokane.

Spokane Police say both the pickup and trailer have been recovered but not before they were stripped of all the family's valuables, including Christmas gifts, military uniforms and jewelry.

Sharon and Dewey Brown and their 7-year-old daughter Cami were staying at a motel in Spokane Valley when the truck and trailer were stolen.

The Browns were due in Tacoma on Monday but are staying in the Spokane area for Christmas in hopes of recovering more of their belongings.

This is the second time this year a visiting family's U-Haul has been stolen from a Spokane Valley motel parking lot.
