Grave markers vandalized
SUMNER, Wash. - Witnesses say a group of young men were seen tipping over stone markers at Sumner Cemetery, some on which date to the Civil War. They have stood the test of time, but not determined destruction. Some markers are very ornate, and will be hard to repair or replicate. City workers, from all departments, did their best to clean up the damage, but some markers will never be the same. Feb. 1, 2014. (KOMO Photos: Stephen Ramaley)
