REDMOND, Wash. -- With four banks robbed in less than three months, police in Edmonds, Poulsbo, Redmond, and Stanwood are collaborating to try to track down a bank robber dubbed the "Duct Tape Bandit."
The robber is wanted for thefts at the Whidbey Island Bank in Stanwood on May 24, a KeyBank in Pouslbo on June 7, a Wells Fargo in Edmonds on June 20 and a First Citizens Bank in Redmond on Aug. 8.
In all four robberies, the man showed a gun and demanded money be placed in a white cloth bag. Police say he attacked a customer and employee during the robbery in Stanwood. The man is described as in his mid 20s with short, light brown hair, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin to medium build. Police believe he might have a tattoo on the inside of his left leg.
Anyone with information that can help identify the robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).

Many of the congressmen that are sent to D.C. have taken money from banks. Â If only there was a reward for turning them in.
oh, Â that's right! Â This duct-tape fellow is not serving the bank's purposes.
Still my favorite duct tape bandit is the one that covered his head completely and passed out at the counter..
WOW the economy is so bad even criminals can't afford a decent mask...
Â
So how many bank can this idiot potentially rob on one roll of duct tape...? (until he enters a bank where a citizen who has permit to carry and is armed...)
OH DAMN, I know this guy, cha ching!
Okay, I'll admit. That one use of duct tape that even I haven't come up with. That's original.
Having rather limited duct tape to skin experience, wouldn't this type of prolonged exposure cause at least a rash across the nose and cheeks?
As I look at the picture, I can't help but recall that Michael Jackson - Tape-nose mugshot.
What's up with the cheesy bank robber disguises lately?
This guy just can't wait to be with Big Tiny in the slammer. It shouldn't take the Feds long to track this one down. One very short career for a dumb bank robber.
What happened to security guards working at banks? My bank has one. If you see someone coming in the bank with duct tape on their face, then obviously they are up to something!
