SEATTLE - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a serial "OxyContin Robber" who has hit 10 pharmacies in the past four months.

The man also suspected of robbing three espresso stands, and authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

In most of the robberies the suspect has implied he has a weapon, and victims have seen a handgun seen in a few of the robberies, said a spokesperson for Crimestoppers of Puget Sound.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or 30s, standing 6 feet tall with a slim build and brown hair.

Typically, the suspect approaches the pharmacy counter and demands OxyContin, a powerful painkiller.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS.
