Missing Tacoma boy found safe
TACOMA - A 10-year-old boy who was reported missing Wednesday night was found safe on Thursday, after having spent the night at a relative's house.
Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said Joseph Felton was reported missing by his mother about 5 p.m. Wednesday after the two had been in an argument.
Police officers and search and rescue volunteer spent the evening searching for Felton and concern was heightened because the boy disappeared about 10 blocks from where Zina Linnik was apparently kidnapped last week.
Zina Linnik has been missing since last Wednesday, and an Amber Alert remains active.
The 12-year-old girl was playing behind her house in Tacoma when her father heard a scream and saw a grey van drive off.
A professional search and rescue team, as well as numerous volunteers have been combing Zina's neighborhood since her disappearance.
