Yakima soldier killed in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A 21-year-old soldier from Yakima has died in Afghanistan.
Pfc. James L. Miller died March 29 in Dashat, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his vehicle with an explosive device, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Miller was a member of the 5th Stryker Brigade that is based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
