NEAR OSO, Wash. -- A logging truck has crashed into a school bus on State Route 530.

State troopers say a bus headed east and a truck leaded west collided near milepost 31 east of Arlington on Friday afternoon.

Troopers say truck was traveling too fast for road conditions, and when the truck came up on a car that slowed down, it swerved into the oncoming lane.

Twenty eight children were aboard the bus at the time, but no one was injured.

The truck driver may receive a citation, troopers said. The eastbound lane of SR 530 was shut down for some time after the crash.

The same bus driver was involved in another crash on the same roadway three months ago. The driver was not at fault in that crash, investigators said.
