Search on for driver who fled I-5 rollover crash
SEATTLE -- The search is on for the driver who fled the scene of an accident on Interstate 5 on Wednesday night.
The accident took place in the southbound lanes of the roadway at Interstate 90 at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Investigators said two cars, a red Jeep Wrangler and a Toyota Corolla, driving parallel to each other tried to merge at the same time, and side-swiped each other.
The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to roll over and land on its roof.
The driver in the light-colored 90s model Corolla fled the scene, and remains at large.
The Jeep driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
