Aberdeen police investigating holiday stabbing

ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) - Aberdeen police are investigating a stabbing early New Year's Day at a local motel.

Corporal Darrin King tells KBKW they responded with help from Hoquiam Police to the report of a fight at the Best Night Inn just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A 27-year-old man was treated at Grays Harbor Community Hospital for stab wounds to the head and neck and then released.
