Allergic reaction leads to Spokane emergency landing

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - A young child's allergic reaction led to an emergency landing in Spokane.

The Spokesman-Review reports that a Delta flight was forced to land Friday afternoon at Spokane International Airport. Airport spokesman Todd Woodard says the family declined to have the girl transported to the hospital but are spending the night in Spokane to monitor the child's condition.

The flight was traveling from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Salt Lake City. The plane continued on its way shortly after the emergency landing.
