Arlington barn fire leaves 2 piglets dead

ARLINGTON, Wash. -- A fire that broke out at an Arlington barn left two piglets dead Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out just before 1:30 a.m. in the 10000 block of Arlington-Darrington Road, officials said.
Two horses and a cow escaped the flames, but two piglets who had been under a heating lamp died.
Fire marshals are still looking for the cause.

one of the stranger headlines here recently...
Don't forget the lomilomi salmon, poi and other traditional luau dishes. Â
In the mean time, I'm going to go heat up some sausage for a late lunch.
guess we know what's for breakfast, lunch and dinner today
Yum bacon...
Roasted pork?Â
Wonder if the heat lamp was the cause...
THIS is news?
@Hagar
Yes, this is news, it's my aunts barn and it's very sad that these things happen.Â
Â
 @Hagar Yes, it is news although perhaps of little interest to you.
@Furd I think it would be more useful to fill space with news like the US hitting its debt limit Monday (it was supposed to be February), or maybe President Bush taking a turn for the worst. You know... stuff like that.
@Furd Cheers!
 @Hagar  @Furd AS I stated, it is all news. I personally don't care a whit about former President Bush; he's an old man and old people have health problems. (I'm old and I have health problems but I'm quite sure that only a very few people care.) Nor do I waste time worrying about the US debt ceiling as there is nothing I can do about it and no matter in what way the Congress and other agencies deal with the debt I will simply have to live with it.

To each their own, my friend.
Poor piggies!!! :(
