Armed man robs Redmond 'adult store'
REDMOND, Wash. -- Police are on the hunt for the armed man who robbed an "adult store" in Redmond.
The robber, who is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 30s, charged into Lovers armed with a handgun Tuesday just before 1 p.m.
Police say he demanded cash and then made the employee go to the back of the store. He then ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber has a medium build and stands roughly 5'8" tall. He was wearing a baseball hat, sunglasses, an orange or red jacket, blue jeans and gloves.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.

You have to be kidding. There is an adult store in Washington. I didn't think they existed here. I mean Real Adult Stores. Not these Lover Packages kid stores.
My wife used to work for their parent company. That store gets hit quite often. I remember being there with her after the store got hit and the employees were giving a description and helping with a sketch. The sketch artist was amazing. When they finally caught the guy, the sketch matched his picture almost perfectly.
I'm surprised the clerk didn't fist themselves out of this. I would have doubled up my defenses and just pushed through and took it all the way. Hope they get the bad guy and show him who's boss.
How did that suspect description slip by the editors?

Don't know, but if he keeps this up, he will become a hardened criminal. And why did he make the clerk go through the back door? That's weird.

 @Sid Vishess Sounds like he made the clerk just go into the back. KOMO probably edited the story and added that detail later. Happens to me all the time and I end up looking like a jackass...
This was just a ruse to cover up the fact that he was stealing condoms because he was too embarrassed to buy them.
