Arrest made in Oregon samurai sword attack

BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) - Police have arrested a man accused of cutting his brother with a samurai sword during an argument at a Grants Pass motor home.

Oregon State Police Sgt. Jeff Fitzgerald says 23-year-old Preston Sweaney was arrested Thursday afternoon in Beaverton.

Sweaney's brother was cut on the arm and the side Nov. 15.

Sweaney was booked into the Washington County Jail on arrests warrants from Curry County, Ore., and California.

Charges are pending in the Grants Pass case.
