Arrest made in sexual attack on Bellingham barista
BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Bellingham police have arrested a teen boy they suspect sexually assaulted a female barista on Aug. 25.
Police spokesman Mark Young said it was about 4:20 a.m. when the 25-year-old barista at the Cruisin' Coffee stand on Lakeway Drive was attacked by a teen while she was getting ready to open.
The woman told police the attacker approached her and asked if she was open. She told him she was about to open, and would take his order in a few minutes, at which point the teen reached in through the window, opened the door and attacked her. The attacker pushed her to the floor, while grabbing and groping her and attempting to pull off her clothes, police said.
The victim fought off the attacker, and received only minor injuries.
In the days after the attack, police released an image of the suspect that was captured on security camera. Detectives credited phone tips leading to a suspect, and the victim was able to pick the teen out of a police lineup. The teen has since confessed, Young said.
The boy was taken into juvenile detention for investigation of first degree attempted rape.

a bullet to the head-that's the only rehab this punk a@@ coward needs
How about a description so when he gets out in 3 months people know who to look for. They don't have to give a name, but no reason why more information cannot be given out.

charge as an adult...it's very simple.
The 1st of many such attacks we'll be reading about from this vermin because our "justice" system will refuse to stop him.
My wife and I used to go to that Cruisin Coffee almost every day. Hope they turn the screws to this one before he gets out and does something worse.Â
Too bad she did not have ultra boiling water to dump on junior jack wagon.

Ladies, keep your guard up. Carry a defensive device, be it spray, taser or handgun. This creep will get out and try it again... Most likely with even stronger determination and conviction. Post pictures of him everywhere. Nuts about the juvenile categorization. What is to stop him next time?

Worm is a predator already.
@pbs7mm Just because he's at the Juvenile Detention Center doesn't mean they can't charge him as an adult. The son of a friend of mine was charged as an adult for an armed offense but after his arrest and until he was convicted in court and sent to an adult prison, he was held at Juvenile Detention.
