Arrest made in weekend Arlington murder
SEATTLE -- Snohomish County deputies believe they've nabbed the man responsible for killing a 20-year-old Stanwood man over the weekend.
The suspect, who hasn't been named, is a 41-year-old Tulalip resident, according to deputies. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Wednesday for murder in the 2nd degree, drive-by shooting, and rioting.
Ryan Mumm died on Sunday, a day after deputies found him with a gunshot wound to the head in Blue Stilly Park in north Snohomish County.
Deputies responded to the scene at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday after receiving reports of a shooting, said Lt. Stephen Dittoe of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
Mumm was treated at the scene before being rushed to Providence Hospital in Everett.
During the course of the investigation, deputies found a car at a local gas station that may be related to the shooting.

I'm glad they have someone. 41 YO loser! A drive -by at the stilly? I can't get my head around it. My son went to schoool with the poor kid by all accounts he was a  gentle soul. wrong place at the wrong time? I agrre 1st degree charges!

I'm glad they caught this guy, and if they can prove he did the shooting, crucify him. What kind of person, at 41 years old, hangs out with a bunch of "20 somethings" and ends up killing one? I don't agree with the 2nd degree murder charge however. It should be 1st degree murder. Face it, if you point a gun at someone, and pull the trigger, you INTEND to kill them, you PLAN to kill them, and you TRY to kill them. In this case, he succeeded. 2nd degree murder? BULL!
 @LoudNoises Was it a gang related shooting? That would be evidence of premeditation. I agree they should have charged him First Degree, as something to plea down to if nothing else.
