Body found floating in Lake Washington

SEATTLE -- Police are investigating after a body was found floating in Lake Washington early Friday.
Seattle Police spokesman Mark Jamieson said officers were called about 6:20 a.m. after the body was spotted near Mount Baker Beach on the west side of the lake.
Officers recovered the body, believed to be a female, and took it back to shore.
The body has not been identified and it was not known how the person died.

I hope they are able to ID the victim and give closure to her family. Rest in peace.
