Body found in SW Washington river is missing woman

WOODLAND, Wash. (AP) - The Cowlitz County, Washington, coroner says a body found recently in the Columbia River near Woodland is that of a St. Helens, Oregon, woman missing since January 2013.

The Daily News of Longview reports the coroner used dental records to identify the body of 29-year-old Lynn Paan-Saephan, who disappeared from a residential mental health home. At the time, officials said she was "at risk" because she had a recent history of mental illness and might have been delusional.

The cause of death was drowning. Coroner Tim Davidson says the autopsy did not find signs of trauma or violence.
