TACOMA, Wash. -- Tacoma Police have arrested a man who they believe killed another man early Wednesday.

Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said officers received an anonymous 911 call leading them to the scene at about 3:15 a.m. The body was found in an alley near the intersection of South 19th Street and South M Street, and officials said it appeared the man had been stabbed.

The victim is a man in his 50s, but his name has not been released. Investigators would only say the victim didn't live near the scene.

Later Wednesday, Fulghum said an acquaintance of the victim had been arrested and booked for investigation of second degree murder. Fulghum did not yet say if police had a motive or what led to the murder.
