Body in Yakima County canal may be missing teen

SELAH, Wash. (AP) - The Yakima County Sheriff's office says a body found Thursday in a canal may be that of Selah teenager who went missing two weeks ago.

Sheriff deputy John Durand says a jogger spotted the body in Roza canal Thursday evening.

Durand says investigators believe this is the body of an 18-year-old Selah teen. Despite an extensive search, the teen's body was not found when he fell on May 2.

The body was transported to the Yakima County Coroner's office for an autopsy.
