Brad Goode joins KOMO News
SEATTLE -- Veteran Seattle broadcaster Brad Goode is joining KOMO 4 News and will anchor the morning newscast beginning Jan. 2, the station announced on Thursday.

Goode will co-anchor the morning news from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. with Peggy Bunker, a Seattle native who currently anchors the newscast several days each week and also reports for KOMO.

Goode anchored the morning news at KING-TV for six years and also worked as an anchor at KIRO-TV.

His 26-year career in broadcasting includes work as a national anchor for CNBC, as well as anchoring and reporting in Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City.

Bunker previously worked as an anchor for ABC World News Now and as an anchor and correspondent for CBS Newspath and Reuters.

Molly Shen, who currently anchors the morning newscast for KOMO, has been promoted to the station's 5 p.m. newscast, where she will join current anchor Eric Johnson.
