Bremerton woman wants trip to jail; smacks officer's nose
BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - A Bremerton police officer who told a woman she couldn't have a trip to jail because she hadn't committed a crime got a smack in the nose with a pop bottle for his response. And she got her wish.
Police reports show Officer Jason Glasgow met the 33-year-old Bremerton woman when he was called to a convenience store Saturday night. She was holding a 20-ounce plastic pop bottle and explained her request.
The Kitsap Sun reports that the officer said they'd have to find an alternative. She reportedly asked angrily "What if I assault you?" and swung the bottle, hitting him in the nose.
The report says the woman then turned around, hands behind her back, waiting for handcuffs.
She was booked into jail for investigation of felony assault of a police officer.
Glasgow reported a red nose.

ooooohhhh..... she's a kinky one! Wants the handcuffs and everything! Oh baby baby baby!
More people that need mental health help that just can't get it unless you are arrested and the judge orders you to a mental health facility. Pretty sad country here that you have to break the law to get help.
OH,,, Â those Bremelo's are getting desparate,,, Â I'll bet all the ships are out to sea and this one got left at the dock. I saw one the other day hustling coins from folks,,, Â she looked like two pigs trying to get out of a burlap sack. Somehow,, as desperate as they might get,,, it doesn't look to me like they've missed a meal. :O)
If I were that officer I'm pretty sure I'd just walk away and pretend it didn't happen. Â By giving her what she wants, you are reinforcing the behavior. Â I'm sure they lawfully can't do that but it would be nice.
"red nose" is a seasonal trait, Officer Rudolf
Unless video exists confirming this actually occurred, then the officer is lying.
@Waking Up America New troll ID eh mate? You know of course your attempt at getting a rise out of the forum dwellers is extremely weak. I can't even give you a 'nice try'.
@komoispropaganda  @Waking Up America I was stunned to discover a troll under such an intelligent, thoughtful screen name, especially such an epic failure of a troll.Â
Probably a homeless person desperate for a roof over her head. That officer should've seen it coming that he was literally encouraging her to respond to get what she wanted.
@Zoso How else do you convey to someone that they cannot go to jail unless they're suspected of committing a crime?Â
Â
From "THEY would have to find an alternative," I'd inferred she needed a place to stay and he was explaining that they, he and her, would have to figure out a solution for her problem besides jail.Â
