For a change, put these two into an octagon cage and let them slap each other silly!  First one to cry loses.
Â
@The WA Mama You just described the Romney Obama debate to a T.
i really wish this debate wasn't the same night as the vp debate.Â
@Darn it!
You can watch the VP debate on cspan dot org later. They will post a perfect copy. Sometimes you can find things on youtube, but they are all chopped up. Cspan has the best coverage of anyone for the presidential race, & there is a ton of stuff on there. All of the latest campaign speeches from Robme/Lyin & Obama/Biden. I may favor McKenna, but there is no way in h- I'd ever support the rights' nominee for president (but that's me).Â
Â
But at any rate, you can get awesome viewing of the VP debate after the fact at cspan dot org. Check it out & everybody twitters it live. It's cool, no commercials, ever.
Â
@Libertyinfinite Thanks for the heads up.Â
I'm betting people will be pretty fired up tomorrow, on both sides, no matter how the debates go. I guess that's one of the purposes of a debate.
Washingtonians always elect democrats & expect that they are going to get something different, after electing the same party over, & over, & over, ... Â
Â
Every time a Republican wants to save us some of  our taxpayer money, Washingtonians get offended. We can't get better, we can't get smarter, we can never improve Washington State, with constant one party system.
Â
The Democrats in Washington State government have been rigging everything for three decades now. They know that Washingtonians really don't watch what goes on, or who they are, & they always keep their power.
Â
It's a shame to see this beautiful evergreen state with such ugly things within our capital.
Â
Can we please stop the ability of one party to get away with everything they want Washington State? Can we please elect Rob McKenna? You've got to know one party this long doesn't ever work.
Â
Please let us recover. & see how beautiful we can be again.Â

@Libertyinfinite âInsanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.â -Albert Einstein
@Necrobio  @Libertyinfinite psssst... Einstein bought into global warming = )
@Necrobio If Einstein were in Washington State today, he'd peg us as insane. People like Washingtonians are exactly what he was talking about.Â
As crazy as it sounds, Inslee has pledged to uphold current firearms laws and not let the legislature try and repeal them or make more restrictive ones. When the NRA and OpenCarry.org approached the McKenna campaign they literally refused to make that pledge, mostly because there were a couple staffers in the McKenna campaign who must have been anti-gun and shut it down.
Â
Inslee will be picking up all the gun-rights votes this time, Â how nutty is that....
@NorthwestEconomist It's not worth it to keep on party in power. I wouldn't trust anyone who's been in D.C. that long. He has been there, while McKenna has been here, working for the people here. We have to break the cycle of rigid, one issue voting. We must stop the democrats from getting everything that they want for the over thirtieth year in a row.
Â
Do you know how long deomocrats have had everything in Olympia? & things for Washingtonians get worse & worse? We can't keep doing the same thing & expect a different outcome.Â
Â
Â
@NorthwestEconomist Is that your opinion or fact? Where did you get your data?  The NRA rates Inslee and "F".  View this site and verify for yourself before spewing your nutty BS.  www.nrapvf.org
@CB  @NorthwestEconomist In other words CB... you're saying the NRA isn't about gun rights and has become just another political lobby for the Republican party?
@CB  @TruthinAdverts I advise you to check out OpenCarry.org and see all the reasons behind why OC is actually a good idea. It's a deterrent, a political statement and a civics lesson, all in one action. We carry in the open because we have nothing to hide. Criminals do NOT open carry.Â
Â
"A right not exercised is a right lost. "
@NorthwestEconomist  @TruthinAdverts I conceal carry nearly every day and can tell you I don't want to give a bad guy the advantage of knowing I'm carrying.  Concealed Carry is a choice I've made as to not freak the Seattle Anti Gun folks out while getting eggs, milk and diapers at my local grocery store.  Additionally why let a bad guy know you're carrying?  Only thing I can see here is that once they take away the right to open carry it's only a matter of time before Washington's leaders follow California anti gun laws. Â
I'd be interested in knowing McKenna's stance on Open Carry however I think it's not the best choice in most cases. Â
@CB  @NorthwestEconomist  @TruthinAdverts We've already seen that video and it is too vague. We at OpenCarry.org have been asking the campaigns to give SPECIFIC statements about whether they would stop the legislature from changing state pre-emption during the next legislative session and whether they would defend and protect OPEN CARRY.Â
Â
The Inslee campaign actually gave us a specific statement that they would do that. The McKenna campaign will NOT. We've been asking them for over a month with phone calls, emails, voicemails, etc. No response, we think they are trying to paint themselves as "moderate" by avoiding us to attract more democrats. However, this will only work against them.Â
If you don't like it then contact the McKenna campaign and let them know that they are losing these votes all because they won't issue a very specific statement about preserving two key pieces of current state law against McGinn and his allies who have vowed to lobby to change it in the next session.Â
@NorthwestEconomist  @TruthinAdverts http://www.robmckenna.org/questionoftheweek?page=2  Click on the Gun Rights video. Doesn't seem like he would limit gun rights at all. Â
@CB  @NorthwestEconomist  @TruthinAdverts Obviously because it's about firearms we'd trust McKenna more if he made the same pledge but he won't. We've written emails and made phones pleading with the McKenna campaign to not throw these votes away when they could easily go to them but they will NOT respond to a large organization that could give them 10-20k votes and tip the balance of this election, all because some staffers in the McKenna campaign are probably anti-gun and are killing any support his campaign might get. If you don't like it then contact the McKenna campaign and let them know that Inslee is stealing votes that should go to him.
@NorthwestEconomist  @CB  @TruthinAdverts When was the last time a pledge out of a career politician meant anything. Â
@CB  @TruthinAdverts  @NorthwestEconomist This has nothing to do with his former record, this is entirely about a pledge about what to do as governor during the next legislative session. Seattle, Bellingham and a few other places have vowed to lobby Olympia to get rid of state pre-emption and try and get new firearms restrictions passed. The Inslee campaign has promised to keep current state law the way it is and block changed. For over a month of constant contact, the McKenna campaign has refused to make that pledge. Looks like McKenna will not protect the open carrying of firearms or state pre-emption. A call to the AG's office even got an attorney there claiming that WA was not an "open carry" state. Clearly McKenna disagrees with current law.
@TruthinAdverts  @NorthwestEconomist I'm just stating the facts from the NRA and pointing out that NorthwestEconomist is wrong about Inslee and the NRAs position on him.  There are plenty of Democrats with passing grades on the NRA website.  Based on Inslees past in DC there is a clear indication Inslee's pledge is a lie. Â
I am looking forward to watching the debate. I want to see who doesn't walk around questions. I hope the panel asks the right questions.Â
I am tired of this state being unfriendly towards small business. I believe it is time for a change at the helm. I will vote for Rob McKenna. Jay Inslee will be more of the same.
McKenna has proven his thirst for power going off on his own regardless of what the voters and elected officials wanted.Â
Â
McKenna will rape all budgets and be the first to sell off publicly owned lands to the highest bidder in true republican fashion.Â
Â
He will also go after all unions in the state bringing down wages in the public sector and the private sector wages will drop soon after.
Â
McKenna would be the tea party candidate and I couldn't vote with the uneducated, misspelled sign carrying extremists who shove tea bags down their pants and scream how patriotic they are while calling anyone who disagrees with them "UnAmerican" .
Â
KcKenna....The Extremists Candidate.
@Andrew Bush Democrats have had all of the power in Olympia for over thirty years. It is horrible in Washington State because of the one party power in Olympia.Â
Â
This state gets worse & worse & yet rigid partisans like yourself can't stand any sunlight on your parties abysmal failure. So he wants to bring us taxpayers a more viable budget & way of life. How can you be offended at a better life for all Washingtonians? I know, you are a rigid partisan, & you oppose anything by party alone.
Â
I bet everything you know about your government could fit on one 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. We have to get better. We have to know more. We must return to self government, & initiate oversight of our states' governments again. & we must end this one party rule now.
Â
Rob McKenna is in no way an extremist. He just wants to save Washingtonians some money & show us how much better we can be with smarter ways of operating our state.
Â
If saving money is extreme, you need a new dictionary. Or to just start paying attention.
@Andrew Bush I was going to skip this race because I thought McKenna to be an insufficiently conservative RINO type, but after reading your post I am going to reconsider that position. Maybe I will vote for him after all - he sounds like a great candidate! Thanks Andrew!
@70MonteCarlo  @Andrew Yes I especially liked the part about going after public sector unions. As well as being a Teaparty candidate. Sounds like he is just what the state needs right now, thx andrew.
@70MonteCarlo  @Andrew Come now Monte... we all knew you were going to vote in lock-step all along... like you always do = )
@TruthinAdverts @Andrew:  Actually, I really despise McKenna and won't vote for him. I can't vote for Inslee either - damn this top two system! Another GOP'er I won't vote for - Bill Finkbeiner - a total snake in the grass. I've been a supporter of Brad Owen since I first started voting in WA - I used to live in his old Senate district. So, you really know nothing of how I will vote or have voted in the past (save for what I just told you).Â
@Andrew Bush ....thinking you're just a tad paranoid there.
After 8 years under the Grigoir administration & 10 BILLION dollar deficits due to non-prudent spending, back room deals with the Tribes, exposed abuses by some said State union employees, the Mongolian cluster fick that is known as DSHS, I would hope that a few of you liberals would see the light, and vote "right"
@Andrew Bush Have come more cool-aid, your throat is getting dry
@Andrew Bush Wow, the expected, usual, liberal, fear-mongering canned talking points mingled with mindless name calling and vitriol. Nothing to see here, folks, move on...
