Classroom evacuated after kids complain of feeling sick
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A science classroom was evacuated at Mark Twain Elementary school Monday after some students complained of getting sick.

Fire officials say five kids complained of having a headache and not feeling well. A short time later, symptoms cropped up again.

The principal evacuated the classroom as a precaution. There were about 25 kids in the class at the time, but only five felt ill, officials said. The kids were sent home with their parents.

Hazardous materials crews responded to the scene but couldn't find any obvious source of the sickness. They say the classroom is safe but were doing air tests as a precaution.

The rest of the school went on as scheduled and students were released at regular times.
