Collision on SB I-5 in Shoreline caused 4-mile backup
A rollover accident on I-5 southbound near 145th St. near Shoreline caused a four-mile backup into Snohomish County.
SHORELINE-- A rollover collision on I-5 southbound near 145th St. in Shoreline blocked the two right two lanes Friday morning, causing a major backup of four miles at its peak, the Washington Dept. of Transportation said.

At least one car was on its top after the crash around 11:15 a.m. and another separate accident was causing delays.

Traffic was backed up nearly to the 220th St. exit in Mountlake Terrace at 11:15 a.m. but had mostly cleared two hours later.

The State Patrol was investigating the crash. There was no word if anyone was hurt.
