Comedian Katt Williams arrested in Seattle
Comedian Micah "Katt" Williams was arrested Sunday afternoon after he was involved in a fracas at a South Lake Union bar, Seattle police said.
Officers were called to the World Sports Grille near Ninth Avenue North and Westlake Avenue following a report of a dispute involving Williams and another patron at the bar, department spokesman Jonah Spagenthal-Lee said in a statement. Williams, a Los Angeles-based comedian who recently was parodied on "Saturday Night Live," was scheduled to perform at the Paramount Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but missed his Thursday show.
"During the incident Williams exchanged words with patrons in the bar, brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business," Spagenthal-Lee said. "At one point during the altercation, Williams followed a family outside of the bar where, as the family got into their car, Williams flicked a cigarette through a car window at a woman, striking her just below her eye.
"Williams also threw a rock at the family's car."
Police said Williams struggled with officers as they tried to put him into a patrol car. Jail records show Micah Sierra Williams was booked into King County Jail at 6:42 p.m. Sunday for investigation of harassment, assault and obstructing police, and was being held late Sunday. He's expected to have a Monday afternoon bail hearing.
The Sunday incident was his second involving Seattle police this week, according to officers.
"Following Williams' Friday evening show, Williams was involved in an altercation with three fans," Spagenthal-Lee said. "The fans claimed Williams had attacked them after they tried to take a photo with him after the show. However, Williams claimed the fans had forced their way into his dressing room, and denied assaulting anyone."
No arrests were made in that incident.
"Following the incident, Williams told officers he planned to cancel his Saturday night show, and head out of town," Spagenthal-Lee said. "Apparently that didn't happen."
Williams, whom police said was 41 but who is listed as 39 in online biographies, is known for his role as Money Mike in "Friday After Next." He also was on Nick Cannon's MTV improve show "Wild 'n' Out" and has appeared on BET's "Comic View." Recently he was parodied on "Saturday Night Live" for his arrest in Oakland.
Born in Ohio, Williams has been a performing since 1990 and has worked with Lil Jon, Ludacris, Outkast, Oprah Winfrey and E-40.
He has been known for confronting hecklers and last month in Oakland he was moved off stage by his own security staff. The day before he was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly beating an 18-year-old.
The Sacramento Bee reported that in late November Williams ran red lights and fled from pursuing police. In 2006, Williams was found with a stolen gun in his briefcase at Los Angeles International Airport, the newspaper reported. Read more about Williams' Sacramento case.

Man for a moment I thought the article said Kat Denning, so I clicked on it. Then I realized this was Kat Williams; BIG difference.
That's a bummer. I wanted to see if he had any good material about our pot legalization!
Pimpin ain't easy
Just another chump gangbanger....he's in the right town.
That kind of behavior could detract from all his charity work. Â
Throw his ass in jail where it belongs....now THAT would be funny. Typical thug who is too big for his britches.
Â
Thats one pissed off black guy.lol He's pretty funny in his act, uses the racism angle to get a lot of laughs. Someone should tell Katt that pot is legal in Washington now. Tell him to fire up a fatty if he starts getting to much adrenaline flowing.
Oh yeah classic case of short man syndrome.
Who?Â
Makes for good advertising though.
You can take the Thug out of the Ghetto but not the Ghetto outta the Thug.
Is yelling about every little thing that annoys you in life really comedy at all? Â
 @Kimber he a mess
katt williams is a mess lol
Jonah Spagenthal-Lee said in a statement. So who is this spaghetti fellow? I could not have come up with a name like that, unless I was at Olive Gardens restaurant with my sons face planted in a plate full of the stuff.
Dude is in a rapid downward spiral. Â Hopefully he can get his S together before he ends up dead or doing serious time.
Wow, real funny guy; just a barrell of laughs.
Dude is staight up CRAZY!
HE WAS A GOOD GUY TO NO HIM YRS.
@William Sanders Your caps lock is on as well...
@William Sanders  What? You dont make any sense. Is English your primary language?
These guys make so much money that they start thinking they're untouchable. Eventually they p-off the wrong person. In this case he's lucky they put him in jail. He's probably safer there if he's screwing up so badly.
This dude is on a downward spiral.
If you haven't seen the footage of him slapping the Target employee this past week, you should Google it. He gets into it with a Target employee who is like a foot taller than Kat and totally slaps the guy. Target employee calls the cops and then Kat nonchalantly walks away and gets on a motorized scooter and bolts. This way the same day he got into a chase with police on his 3 wheeled motorcycle.
Â
He's lost his friggin mind.
@Tattooed_Angel It's just a matter of time before that munchkin slaps the wrong person and gets the gee lovin' crap kicked out of him. It's obvious he is his own worst enemy right now.
hmmm....KW assaults someone he goes to jail LL assults someone and she goes free. does anyone see anything wrong with this?
Kat is hilarious, he was probably funny as hell being kicked out. Give the man a break he was probably messing around. Who is he going to mess with, he's 4 feet tall.
@Thomas Thornton I can tell you right now that he wasnt messing around. We were there the night before and he tried to start a fight with one of the guys in our group over another person in the party saying the 'F" word. He is a very violent person and needs help.
@Thomas Thornton No, we don't give people who assault people a "break" - are you kidding me?
Â
This guy has an anger issue, it is obvious, just listen to his act as he talks about it all the time during his routines.
Â
There are enough judges and prosecutors giving breaks to celebrities, we don't need any more.
He's lost it. His reality is distorted. get him Help
I've never seen him on TV, never even heard of him. Gee, what a stellar citizen he appears to be...
: - (
It's really sad/crazy.. I didn't know too much about him besides that fact I love his standup comedy "pimp chronicles" in his green suit and was probably one of the funniest performances I've ever seen and when I heard he was coming to Seattle and then missed his performance on Thursday, I read everything all the people were saying on Seattle Theater Groups Facebook page and apparently he has gone off the deep end. Watch the video on YouTube about what happened in Oakland... that's embarrassing to say the least. Sounds like he might be on a lot more than just mj. I remember him always talking about weed and how it makes you hungry, happy and sleepy and that's it....apparently not. Flicking a cigarette at a woman, what an idiot. He hides behind his entourage because he knows all 4 feet of him he would get whooped.
Being Tarred and Feathered and run out of town on a rail is too good for this filth. May he never darken the doors of our city again.
@TheTruncheon He's embarrising he gives other comedians bad name
Man, a brother just can't get a break!
After reading this article it seems clear his internal compass has been set to self destruct. Hopefully he has family and friends who can intervene and get him some much needed help before it's too late.
I had never even heard of this guy until he was arrested.
what a chump.
I wonder if he was just trying to come up with some new material for his act, get some publicity for his flailing career,  or maybe he needed a new profile pic and figured he could use his mug shot. This guy sounds like a real loser. Hopefully, he'll just kinda fade away.....
We were at the same bar on Saturday night for a 30th birthday party. He tried to start a fight with the birthday boy because someone said the "f" word and he didn't appreciate it. Are you serious? Anyways, he threw out a bunch of threats and was acting all tough. Needless to say I will never support him or watch anything that has to do with him. He needs to grow up.
@kbjohnson2008 Who does he think he is; Pat Boone? His stand up is loaded with "F" bombs; he doesn't get to object to someone else using the word in his presence.
never heard of this loser. he must really suck.
This guys not so funny. Hope he doesn't come back.
Train wreck
People - QUIT SUPPORTING THESE LOSERS!!!!!!!!
Comedian? That's not very funny.
