Cox family releases video of Powell boys showing happier times
PUYALLUP, Wash. -- The aunt of Charlie and Braden Powell says she wants people to now focus on the boys' happier times than their death at the hands of their father Josh Powell over a week go.
Denise Cox released a video to the Salt Lake Tribune that shows the boys carving a pumpkin and running around with their cousins.
"Charlie explains to you what he is cutting and why," Cox told the paper. "They’ve got the sweetest little smiles."
Cox told the paper she and family members have watched the film clips repeatedly in recent days and they do provide some solace.
Charlie and Braden died Feb. 5 after their father set fire to their home near Graham.
