Crash involving 2 police cars injures 4 in Bellevue
BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Four people -- including two police officers -- were injured Monday night in a three-vehicle crash in Bellevue.

The crash happened just after 9 p.m. as two Bellevue police officers were responding to a car theft and foot chase in another part of town, according to Seth Tyler with the Bellevue Police Department.

The details are still sketchy, but Tyler said the two police vehicles collided at 112th Avenue NE and Main Street. One of the patrol cars then hit a third car with five people inside.

Both the officers and two people from the third car were taken to Overlake Hospital, but Tyler said none of the injuries are serious.

The road is expected to be closed near the crash site until late Monday as police investigate.
