Deputies: Jefferson County teen kidnapped at gunpoint
QUILCENE, Wash. -- Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say a teenage girl's kindness backfired on Wednesday when an injured man she stopped to help kidnapped her at gunpoint.
Deputies first received a 911 call at about 6 p.m. saying a 16-year-old girl had escaped an armed kidnapping attempt.
The girl told deputies she was driving near mile post 7 on Center Road when she spotted a man who had a bloody bandage wrapped around his leg and appeared to be injured.
When she stopped to see if she could help the man -- who was wearing a bandana on his face -- the girl said the man pointed a dark-colored semi-automatic pistol at her and got inside her truck, according to deputies.
The man then ordered the girl to drive to Dabob Post Office Road, and when they reached that destination he told her to pull over. The girl told deputies the man ordered her out of the truck and held her at gunpoint while he rummaged through her purse.
An approaching car apparently spooked the gunman, because he ran away into the nearby woods. The girl also took off running, and deputies say she didn't stop until she reached Coyle Road, where she flagged down a car and asked the driver to call 911.
Deputies are now searching for the kidnapper, who is thought to be about 5'10" tall with dark eyebrows. He was wearing a black beanie, a black hoodie and dark colored pants.
Deputies say the man should be considered armed and dangerous.

This isn't passing the "Smell Test"
Having a 14 year old daughter myself I will probably never rest until i am actually laying in the grave dead.
I talk with my daughter all the time about this stuff, but the bottom line is that when someone is as brazen as this maybe the ONLY solution is to have the law and prosecututers step to one side, and let the fathers deal with these piece of s##ts.
Maybe the days of lynch mob justice are not that gone by, and maybe the law will step aside and let the people take an eye for an eye
of course the liberals in the country will NEVER let that happen
sleep well
Must be another "good guy" who forgot to turn in his gun at the buyback, imagine that...
Sounds like "Ted Bundy" is back.
Reincarnation of Bundy
Even armed I don't pull over for strangers....especially someone with a bandanna over their face and bloody bandage on their leg.
I'm really concerned about girls these days. Why would you pull over to help someone who is wearing a bandanna over their face, a beanie and a hoodie? Just call 911 and let the authorities take care of it. You have way too much to lose.
