BORING, Ore. – Clackamas County sheriff’s deputies said a man intentionally crashed a motorhome into a Boring, Ore. tavern early Saturday morning.

No one was hurt.

Deputy Marcus Mendoza said the motorhome crashed into the Timber Tavern, located on Southeast Highway 212, at around 2 a.m.

The tavern had just closed for the night. A few people were inside when the crash occurred.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find the driver of the motorhome walking around at the crash scene. He didn’t appear to be injured, but he had “several self-inflicted wounds on his arms,” Mendoza said in a news release.

Deputies determined the driver intentionally drove the motorhome into the tavern. His motive is unclear at this time.

The driver’s name has not been released. He was cited and taken to a hospital for treatment and a mental health evaluation.
