Deputies find meth, money and weapons in Kent home

KENT, Wash. -- King County sheriff's detectives seized roughly 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine and $4,000 in cash during a Saturday morning raid in Kent.
Detectives have been investigating the home's occupants since last summer, and on Saturday they got a search warrant to get inside the SE 272nd Street house.
Once inside, deputies found drugs, scales and meth-packaging material. They also and seized body armor, brass knuckles and spring-loaded knives.
A 48-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were arrested and booked into King County Jail. The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor's office.
