ISSAQUAH, Wash. -- King County sheriff's deputies seized more than 400 marijuana plants and 50 pounds of processed pot in a Thursday morning raid in Issaquah.

Detectives arrived at the house, located in the 12700 block of 195th Place SE, at 10:30 a.m. to serve a search warrant. When they went inside, they found what is described as a "collective grow" operation.

The occupants had paperwork for the medical marijuana, but the paperwork was expired, according to the sheriff's department.

The search turned up 536 plants and 65 pounds of processed marijuana. But, due to "compliance issues," detectives only took 401 of the plants and 50 pounds of the processed pot found in the house.

Police also found an unknown amount of cash and a handgun. One of the residents is a registered felon and isn't allowed to have any guns.

Nobody was arrested and the case has been forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review.
