Deputy injured in hit-and-run crash in Everett
EVERETT, Wash. -- A Snohomish County sheriff's deputy was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Monday afternoon.
Investigators said the deputy's patrol car rolled over after being struck by another car in front of Mariner High School at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The driver and the passenger of the vehicle at fault fled the scene and remains at large. No description was available.
The deputy's injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.

and lastly for all of the people who think that one deserves respect who doesn't show respect, that is a false statement. I do understand that someone who has a greater will to control their emotions probably should be more humble to the less capable, however since this is a forum where people just throw out opinions and demean people contrary to their opinion, it doesn't matter much. If this was in real life i'd walk away, but since more than one person can see it, they need to know the facts, not the opinions.
I do hope the officer gets well from the serious injuries, but the facts stated from the story brought me to the conclusion that not all of the facts were correct and it looked fishy. get mah drift?
I cringed when I saw the pic of the deputy's vehicle. That could have been me so many times. My thoughts are with him and his family. Heal fast, get back out there and catch those bad guys!!Â
According to Komo, the deputy's patrol car got hit by another car. However, King5 is reporting that he actually lost control while u-turning to chase after the car who was driving reckless. And, that the suspects ran on foot. Weird! Let's hope for a speedy recovery!
 @WAREZ2012 I've read on a couple different news sights that it was no hit and run but driver error. KOMO likes to report news their own way I guess.
I just went and talked to a sheriff and he said that everybody is doing fine. And the sheriff car is still here. And I know this cause I live here.
The zombies will be in jail within 24 hours :o)
When the culprits are caught, they're going to be in such HUGE trouble - they're going to wish they'd never gotten behind the wheel.

I'm betting that the driver was either texting or intoxicated - otherwise, they wouldn't have taken off. Â

huh... anyone except me think that maybe there was no other vehicle?? 4:30pm there's still some daylight (though it was cloudy). where did he get hit from (on the vehicle)? what could of impact could have made the vehicle do that? I'd be curious on where the sheriff was coming from. I'm familiar with that road and I just don't see how it could have happened getting bumped by another car; physically, it's extremely improbable.

You getting a job with any LE. Okay maybe thats a little mean of me, but really... it doesnt take a lot to make a vehicle flip on its top... look into the PIT manouvers and see how slower speeds can send a vehicle flying... picture going sideways after being hit and hitting the curb from the side, which easily sends the car rolling.... oh btw, yes I was there.
holly crap I just passed and didn't realize. they hadn't blocked off 4th ave and I got to my apt, turned around to go back up to 7\11, and they were blocking it off. I did not see the police car....they must have removed. Hope he's ok!Â
