Detectives looking for more victims of sex offender charged with rape

SEATTLE -- Detectives with the King County Sheriff's Office are looking for more victims of a Level 3 sex offender suspected of sexually assaulting women in Seattle and Shoreline.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Demarcus Linwood targets women who appear to be homeless or otherwise vulnerable, meeting them near bus stops or parks.
He was arrested Feb. 8 and has been charged with rape following a King County Sheriff's Office investigation. Detectives are hoping additional victims or anyone with information about Linwood will come forward.
The Seattle Police Department is also currently investigating Linwood.
Oh, is this guy part of the same band of diversity that is supposed to enrich us? Just ask the women whom he raped how much of a strength our diversity is. Every year, there are tens of thousands of black-on-white rapes in America, while during the same time white-on-black rapes are statistically insignificant, as in none. So who's the problem here?
It cost's $50,000 per year to keep this guy in jail and more than $280,000 to prosecute and send him into jail. How many lives have this monster destroyed and how much money have the tax payers been fleeced by King County judicial system?  Millions!
I wonder how many times the judges in KC let this guy out to find more victims. Wouldn't it be cheaper to keep him in jail if he's already a high level sex offender?Â
@NW-Economist .....It costs $50,000/yr to keep an inmate in jail.  If money is your only concern (e.g., King Cty), it's cheaper to let them go....
it's the ACLU and the bleeding hearts that made it to costly to jail people. let's go back to the old west were we try them and 8 am and hang them at high noon. Sure it won't cut down on crime but it will stop re-offenders from doing it to someone else. some people cost taxpayers 2 to 5 million dollars over their life time.
@Biggg Donnn @NW-EconomistHow much does it cost when they re-offend and we have to arrest them again, process them again, charge them again, try them again, jail them again?Â
I can think of a cheaper solution of course, but the bleeding heart, hug-a-thug, liberals wouldn't like it.Â
Where does the article state that he is not currently sitting in jail?Â
@lakeviewYou really aren't the sharpest tack in the shed, are you?
Nowhere in my comment did I preclude the possibility that he was in jail right now, but it's clear from the article that prior to his recent arrest he was in jail before and convicted as a level 3 sex offender and released prior to his February arrest (you don't arrest people in jail...) since a trial for his most recent charges has not taken place yet.Â
@NW-Economist Says he was arrested on Feb 8 and doesn't say he is out. they are looking for more victims while he is in jail to charge him with more sex offenses. This guy should have been sentenced to life at McNeil island.
@lakeview @NW-EconomistI get along fine with sensible, reasonable, ethical people--just not liberal, hypocrite, statist types.Â
@NW-Economist @lakeview  You must have a lot of friends with the way you treat people. :)Â
