SEATTLE -- The Seattle Police Department is looking for two men in connection with unrelated robberies that took place during a one-week span in Seattle.

The first robbery took place around 6:20 a.m. June 7 as the victim was getting off a bus at 64th Avenue South and South Prentice Street in Rainier Beach.

According to police, a man followed the victim off the bus and made small talk with him before blocking his path and telling him to hand over his belongings.

The man reportedly tried to punch the victim and grab his cellphone, failing at both, before being chased off by officers, who were unable to catch him.

The second robber took place around 1:20 p.m. June 14 near Second Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle.

According to police, witnesses heard glass breaking and watched as a man removed items from a parked car through its broken window.

When one of the witnesses confronted the man, the man reportedly took out a handgun and said, "What are you going to do, bro?"

The man ran off, but not before another witness snapped a photo (seen to the left) with his cellphone.
