Driver killed in SeaTac crash

SEATAC, Wash. -- One person was killed when the car they were driving crashed and caught fire late Thursday in SeaTac.
The driver was southbound on 34th Avenue South when they slammed into a utility pole near the intersection with 176th Street.
The driver died at the scene and has not been identified. No one else was in the car.
Officials said there were no signs that the driver tried to brake prior to hitting the pole, but the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
