2 motorcyclists killed in separate crashes on July 4th

Two motorcyclists were killed in a separate crashes on July Fourth in the Puget Sound region.
In Tacoma, a motorcycle rider was fatally injured in a collision Wednesday with a minivan turning into a fireworks stand on Highway 167 near Tacoma.
The Washington State Patrol says 31-year-old Eric Markle of Tacoma was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time. He died at the scene.
The driver of the minivan and an adult passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries. Two children in the minivan, ages 3 and 5, were not hurt.
In Everett, a 26-year-old Edmonds man was killed when his motorcycle ran off Highway 526. He later died at a local hospital.
