Female inmate found dead in King County Jail

SEATTLE (AP) - A King County Jail official says a 32-year-old female inmate has died in the downtown Seattle facility.
Cmdr. William Hayes said Friday that the Seattle woman was found unresponsive early Thursday during a headcount. Jail officers called for the health staff and 911 was notified but the woman was pronounced dead.
Hayes says she was booked into the jail Jan. 25 on multiple misdemeanor charges. She was not immediately identified.
The King County medical examiner's office will determine the cause and manner of death. Hayes says Seattle police will investigate. Detention officials and local public health officials also review jail-related deaths.

I knew this woman and she was a great person...She was at my house the day before she went to jail.. I can't believe I will never see her smiling face walk through my front door. My thooughts and prayers go out to her 4 young children... R.I.P. Brittania Keiyanna Allen, you will be remebered always
shameful
I noticed that they also didnât say if she had a âroommateâ when she passedâ¦. Or is there so much space available at the County Hilton that the County Sheriff can âsingle upâ rooms?
What do they mean "she was not immediately identified"?  Meaning they are not releasing her name? Or, they don't know who she is? This article is confusing.
Awfully young for natural causes. Withdrawal from alcohol, opiates or benzos could cause it. Non-natural causes would be more sinister. Â
@Komo Dragon Much too young for natural causes. I'm curious to see what the ME rules.
