Girl stabbed multiple times at Northgate Transit Center

SEATTLE -- A teenage girl was stabbed multiple times at Northgate Transit Center on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the center located at First Avenue NE and NE 103rd Street at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Paramedics said the girl was in serious but stable condition when she was transported to a nearby hospital.
Police are searching the area for a 16-year-old girl in connection to the incident. A description was not available, however.
It was not clear what led to the stabbing, and the investigation is ongoing.
