Jerramy Stevens arrested in Florida for violating probation

Former Huskies and Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens, who was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence the day before his wedding to U.S. soccer star Hope Solo two weeks ago, has been arrested again in Florida on Wednesday.
Stevens was arrested at his home at 10 a.m. EST and booked into jail an hour later, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Tampa. He was cuffed for allegedly violating the terms of his parole from a previous conviction for possession of marijuana, and as of 12:30 p.m. PST he was still in jail.
Meanwhile, his new wife is in Portland, Ore., getting ready for the U.S. National Team's match Wednesday night against Ireland, as part of the team's appreciation tour following its gold-medal victory in this summer's London Olympics.
Solo, 31, told The Associated Press thather new life with husband Stevens is "great" and "happy," saying she has never been a victim of domestic violence. She and Stevens, 33, got married on Nov. 13 near Snoqualmie, despite his arrest Nov. 12 after several people were involved in a ruckus at a Kirkland home.

Loser with a Capital L !!
Â
Kinda reminds me of Tonya Harding and her gang, including Jeff Gillooly.
Solo-ong JS. See you next in the gray bar motel.
Really disappointed in you Hope.Thought you had a little bit more CLASS in you.You had the world in your hands and you threw it away.Very sad.
Â
Well Hope,
Â
Hope you're happy. What a wonderful husband you have there!
Hope needs to go solo.Â
once you go black u never go back
Ok, here it is in a nutshell. Stevens continues to be arrested until he finally goes away for a substantial amount of time sucking up the limelight as he goes, then Hope will make a miraculous discovery that she screwed up letting him enter her life, she will admit to abuse, they will get divorced and then Hope will land multi-million dollar deals with Dr. Phil and a major booksigning eventually becoming Time's woman of the year.
This guy seems and looks like a total creep. I have no idea what Hope see's in him but then again she seems like she enjoys drama in her life.
Throw your dubs up...
How depressed does Hope have to be for this guy to make her feel happy? It's a sad, sad state of affairs.
This guy's such a tool. Keep him out of the lime light, please. We're all tired of hearing about him and his wife. They appear to be a match made in Jerry Springer's studio. Can't wait to hear what type of problems we'll be hearing about from their offspring.
@Landcruiser Actually, I don't WANT to hear about this sordid stuff....
Well, that didn't take long...
What does he do for a living nowadays?
@livinintheNW Get arrested and smoke pot.
HaaaaaaaHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!! That Gitmo mug shot is comedy gold. Maybe Hope can smuggle Billy Goat Gruff a razor inside a cake or something.
Oh, boy. Hope Solo picked a real winner.
I'm waiting for a documentary crew to start following these two around.
Â
America finally has their very own "trailer park boys"!
There goes our season.
@dkgiovenco He hasn't been on the Seahawks for years.
Hope sure picked a winner.
I wonder what a former this and former that with a criminal history does to contribute to the family income. Â Surely he doesn't expect to live off his wife. Â
Winner!
You're all assuming that the terms of his parole had something to do with pot. You never know what the terms were.. could have been quite a few other things that were bargained out of the previous conviction. Â Having said that.. wow, he looks kind of mean, but I guess you want that in a football player, right?Â
@DT And some people want that in a husband.
I'm a law and order guy, but this is ridiculous. Sure, Stevens behaves like a moron. But once someone gets on law enforcement radar, it's like the full attention of a modern police state apparatus is directed at them. Why did Hillsborough County FL first target him, searching his NFL equipment bag for a small bag of pot? Then, who made sure that his domestic violence incident in Kirkland got elevated to an arrest for a parole violation for that pot bust? It's this kind of idiocy that consumes law enforcement resources so as to allow a bona fide threat to public safety like Maurice Clemens to fly under their radar and commit mayhem.
@RationalGuy, the law requires a police officer responding to an incident of domestic violence to make an arrest if the officer has probable cause to believe that an assault was committed. Since Hope Solo had a visible and fresh injury, her idiotic lover-now-husband was arrested.  You may think that's "idiocy" but the cop was only following the law.Â
@Rational Guy Hey Rational guy-
Â
In 1998 Stevens was arrested for 2nd degree assault with a dealdly weapon, 2000 he was arrested for sexual assault of a 19 year old girl at UW, 2001 reckless driving and hit and run, felony battery in 2011 and assaulting his fiance in 2012.
Â
This is a third of this guy's rap sheet.
Â
So you think he's being targeted and he's not a thug? If the police are targeting this guy I say go right ahead, get him off the streets.
Â
This pattern is leading to a really bad conclusion.
Â
@Spoodle What was he convicted of?
Is this why Hope is so happy?
Why do seemingly intelligent and successful women get involved with abusive men? Does this guy even have a job?Â
@lakeview Your specification for "seemingly intelligent and successful" is incomplete, that's why.
Two words: Tool Shed
Seems like a lot of public resources/taxes used over a marijuana possession charge.
For better, or for worse. Mostly worse.
Jeez. How can she be so smart and talented in her professional life, and such a dumb broad in her personal affairs. Why do women stay with such fricken losers???
@Ron Gomes She may be a talented soccer player, but I certainly wouldn't go so far as to call her smart.
so the state is dropping possession charges left right and center, but not for previous convictions and resulting parole conditions. Unless the charges were from outside WA, I think they are now overdoing it ...
i got that he was arrested in Florida, but since he was here 2 weeks ago, it was not clear from where his original conviction & parole was
@Komo Dragon It doesn't even state what violation he broke either, could have been one of many parole conditions.
@Komo Dragon Didn't the article state this was in Florida? The title should have clued you in.
@Komo Dragon he was arrested in Florida, not Washington, for marijuana possession. This one doesn't involve WA at all.

Â
Just in case she forgot.
I'm not sure which one is dumber?
And in other news it appears the sun has come up, yet once again.
@Cindertang ...and new scientific research that proves without a doubt... the moon is not made of cheese...
