KOMO's anchors get all wet -- for a good cause
KOMO anchors Molly Shen, Eric Johnson, Mary Nam and Steve Pool (yes, he's under there) take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

SEATTLE -- You've seen them all over social media -- the "ice bucket challenges" to raise awareness and funding for ALS research.

From Seahawks QB Russell Wilson to Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder to countless others, the campaign has gone viral.

Challenge accepted:

They then challenged the evening news crew of Eric Johnson, Molly Shen, Steve Pool and Mary Nam. (As did KOMO reporter Lindsay Cohen)

(As you can see, the weather was a bit more favorable for the evening crew's dousing.)

The KOMO 4 Problem Solvers will be donating $1,000 to the Evergreen Chapter of ALS Association. You can donate as well at their website.

Who's next? The team has challenged the entire coaching staff of the University of Washington football team.
