Large water main break disrupts access to Pt. Townsend ferry

PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. - A large water main break has closed the main access to the Port Townsend ferry terminal until further notice.
Public works crews and police officers responded to the water main break at around 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning, in front of the Tides Inn and Suites, 1807 Water Street.
The break has closed Highway 20 between Washington Street and the Port Townsend ferry terminal. Crews with the state Department of Transportation are setting up a detour route on city streets.
Public Works personnel say water pressure was not lost in the transmission lines, so no water boil advisory is necessary.

We could ban water....................
But not Waterfront Pizza.
again.no affiliation, but affection
Look at the damage it has caused- we MUST ban assault water mains...
derp. another moron with a dumb, unrelated comment about gun control.
I have no idea what this main would decide to break. The timing is suspect.
Maybe it has finally had enough of people walking right past it and pretending it's not there ?
This could be a cry for help.
Poor water pipe.
I hope it's fixed soon, cause I am going to Waterfront Pizza next week for what I beleive is the best pizza in the state !
I have no affiliation with them, but much affection !!!!!!!!!
