Lewis-McChord soldier killed Wednesday in Afghanistan
JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. (AP) - The Defense Department says a Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier from Virginia died Wednesday in Afghanistan.
Sgt. David J. Chambers of Hampton, Va., was killed in the Panjwai District, Kandahar Province, by an improvised bomb while on foot patrol.
The 25-year-old was assigned to the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team. He was on his third deployment to Afghanistan.

I think that is my old neighbor that repaired units for heating and cooling in St. Paul. I went to parties with this guy, it really sucks to see him gone. He was a good guy.
